UCLA has lost yet another junior to the NFL Draft, with Thomas Duarte electing to forgo his final season of eligibility.
Duarte was UCLA's second leading receiver this season behind Jordan Payton, who graduated.
It's a big blow to the Bruins, as Duarte was probably poised to be Josh Rosen's number one target next season. It's anyone's guess, though, what would have happened to his Y position in next year's offense.
Duarte joins Caleb Benenoch, Myles Jack, Paul Perkins, Alex Redmond, and Kenneth Clark among UCLA juniors who have declared for the draft. The only eligibile junior who was seriously considering leaving who has elected to return is left tackle Conor McDermott. UCLA has now six starters from this year's offense, including Payton and fellow senior Jake Brendel.
