"I had a really good time," Modster said. "The coaches were awesome and I liked them a lot. Coach Tui (Tuiasosopo) is a cool, young dude that I can really relate well to.
"Coach Mora is a great guy and a great coach, real easy to talk to and Coach Polamalu is someone I feel like I can go to any time and talk about anything, not just football stuff. So it's a good group that I felt really comfortable with."
Modster has been to UCLA before so he said he didn't need to do a lot of the tours the other players did.
"I went and toured the campus and saw the dorms but I didn't do all the academic stuff because I had done that before," Modster said. "I did some of the academic tours but the trip for me was mainly about hanging with the players and coaches. When I was with the coaches, we didn't really talk about football that much, we talked more about life and how I would fit there.
"I liked the guys on the team and the other recruits a lot. Mike Fafaul was my host but it was really a whole group of us that were together. Josh Rosen was around us a lot and he's a cool guy. He's real laid back but we all bonded pretty well.
"There were some committed guys on the visit like Austin Kent and Jordan Wilson and then Kentrell Love and Aaron Hansford were there too and we all got along really well. It's a good group of guys and like I said, I felt really comfortable there and I like UCLA a lot."
Modster said he's not ready to make a decision just yet but it could be coming soon.
"I'm still considering all my options," Modster said. "I need to sit down with my family and think things over and decide if I want to take more visits or not. I don't have any other trips set up right now and no home visits either. So in the next day or two, I'll meet with my family and then we'll go from there."
