We're only two weeks away from National Signing Day 2016, but that did not stop UCLA from extending a trio of 2017 offers Tuesday to teammates at DeSoto High School just south of Dallas.
Below is a closer look at each of the new offerees.
Shenault Jr. (pictured at top) is a big receiver with athleticism to break open plays on short routes. He's moved all over the formation, from outside receiver to the slot to inline tight end to H-back. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Shenault Jr. finished his junior season with 28 catches for 494 yards and three touchdowns, averaging more than 17 yards per catch. He's an experiened blocker who plays bigger than his listed size and should enter college with a fairly well-rounded skill set.
Ingram picked up Arizona State and LSU offers on the same day in December as Shenault Jr. Houston and UCLA round out his early offer sheet.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Ingram is a physical, interior road-grader who thrives in the "phone booth." He's a run-game mauler with the requisite size to develop into a quality pass protector at the next level.
White possesses a terrific frame as he projects to the next level. At 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, he already has Power Five-caliber height and length, as well as ample space on his frame to add functional mass. White teamed with Ingram and 2016 tackle Josiah Washington (Texas State commit) to give DeSoto a talented front-line this past fall.
UCLA joins Arizona State and SMU on White's early offer list.
