2017 QB Jack Sears To Visit UCLA

Feb. 11 -- 2017 quarterback Jack Sears will visit UCLA today, and here are highlights of him from his junior year...

Jack Sears, the 2017 quarterback from San Clemente, will be on campus today for an unofficial visit.

Sears is an intriguing prospect, and arguably the best prospect among the group that has come out of San Clemente in recent years, which includes Travis Wilson and Sam Darnold.

UCLA has prioritized Tua Tagovailoa, the Hawaiian quarterback, in the 2017 class to this point, so it will be interesting to see if Sears walks away with an offer after his visit today. Tagovailoa has UCLA on his short list now that Marques Tuiasosopo, who is very close with Tagovailoa, has been hired as the quarterbacks coach.

The Bruins need a starting quality quarterback in the 2017 class to factor into the competition after Josh Rosen likely leaves school following his senior year, and both Sears and Tagovailoa have the potential to be Pac-12 level starters.

Check out highlights of Sears from his junior season.
