A player making a big name for himself as we head in to spring is wide receiver Bryan Thompson.
You can't really call Thompson a sleeper with four early offers but we still think he's flying a little below the radar when you consider how talented he is. He was easily among the top pass catchers we saw over the weekend and should be recruited at the high BCS level.
Thompson has a nice combination of size, speed and body control. He has only played receiver for a year but is making huge strides and should be mentioned among the top receivers out west.
He has the speed to get behind a defense and shows a nice burst out of his breaks. He can high point the ball and does a nice job catching through traffic. He has a solid 6-1 frame and once he becomes more polished in his route running, his game should really take off.
On the recruiting front, Thompson has offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Washington and UNLV and is receiving interest from several other programs as well, including UCLA.
