The above video features junior season highlights of 2017 four-star receiver Omar Manning from Lancaster High School just south of Dallas.
Scout ranks Manning as the No. 21 receiver in the nation and the No. 154 overall prospect in the 2017 Scout 300. The 6-foot-2, 208-pound Manning is one of the top receivers in the entire state of Texas.
Manning finished his junior season with 33 catches for 671 yards and 12 touchdowns on more than 20 yards per reception. He helped Lancaster High to a 10-4 record and state quarterfinal appearance in Texas' fourth-largest of 10 playoff divisions (Class 5A Division II).
Manning has great size and instincts. Those traits, combined with his leaping ability, make him an elite red-zone weapon. Manning is primed to be a difference-maker as a big outside receiver at the Power Five conference level. He's accumulated an impressive list of offers, including Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Mississippi, TCU, Texas A&M, UCLA, Arizona State, Missouri, Texas Tech, and Houston, among several others.
