UCLA defensive line coach Angus McClure has agreed to terms to remain at UCLA, according to sources.
McClure was being aggressively pursued by Nebraska for their open defensive line coaching position. Nebraska coach Mike Riley, defensive coordinator Mark Banker and other Nebraska representatives had reached out to McClure over recent weeks in an effort to bring McClure to Lincoln. McClure has ties to the Nebraska program, being a graduate assistant there early in his career.
Sources have indicated that UCLA coach Jim Mora stepped in and stepped up, providing McClure a significant raise and a two-year extension on his contract.
McClure has yet to sign the new contract, but it's only a formality, according to sources.
