NCAA Tourney Bracketology: Latest Projections for the Field of 68

Feb. 23 -- Scout Bracketician Jody Demling shares his latest projection for the 2016 NCAA men's basketball tournament. See if UCLA is in or out...

With three weeks left until NCAA Selection Sunday, the race to the No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament is still a close call.

Scout.com moved Virginia up to the No. 1 seed line, while Villanova, Kansas and Oklahoma stay as projected top seeds. Oregon, which has the No. 1 strength of schedule and a top five RPI ranking, moves up to the No. 2 seed line, along with Xavier, North Carolina and Michigan State.

Iowa was a No. 1 seed last week but falls to the No. 3 line. The Hawkeyes join Michigan State and five other Big Ten teams in the field, including Maryland (a 4 seed), Indiana (5), Purdue (6), Wisconsin (8) and Michigan (10).

The last two teams in the field of 68 at this point are Alabama and Temple. The first ones out of the field are Butler, Washington, Tulsa, Vanderbilt and UCLA.

LSU, which was in the field last week and has the projected No. 1 NBA draft pick in Ben Simmons, is the sixth team out of the field.
