OL Andrew Vorhees Visited UCLA and Has Several Pac-12 Visits Up Next

Feb. 24 -- Kingsburg (Calif.) offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees visited UCLA over the weekend and has several other Pac-12 visits on tap...

Big tackle prospect Andrew Vorhees is one of the top offensive linemen out West. He's a natural tackle with a great frame and the ability run block and pass protect equally well.

He's a physical kid who has the necessary mean streak and toughness you have to have to excel at the next level. He's going to fill out and continue to get stronger and there is a very nice upside to him.

On the recruiting front, Vorhees will be very active on the visit front this spring. He checked out UCLA last weekend and raved about his time in Westwood.

"The whole trip was great, I couldn't pick out any one thing that stood out," Vorhees said. "I got to spend a lot of time with Coach Klemm and Coach Polamalu, I had a nice academic meeting talking about the different majors and internship opportunities and then Coach McClure took me on a campus tour."

Vorhees has already been to Cal and will visit Arizona State this coming weekend. He also has trips locked in with Oregon State (Mar. 12), Stanford (Mar. 19), Colorado (Apr. 2) and Arizona and Utah the weekend of April 9.
