Pac-12 Schools Involved Early with '18 DB Jaiden Woodbey

Feb. 24 -- Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco sophomore defensive back Jaiden Woodbey is a promising young safety with a big upside to him...

After playing at Upland a year ago, Jaiden Woodbey is now at St. John Bosco and joins what should be a strong secondary.

The big, physical safety has a lot of ability and should be a national recruit in two years. He's not just big, he's also rangy and can cover a lot of ground. With two years left of development it will be fun to see what kind player he is by the time he's a senior.

On the recruiting front, Woodbey has early offers from CalLouisville and UCLA and is hearing from several other programs as well. He'll be at USC's Junior Day this weekend and has plans to check out Arizona State as well. Editor's note: UCLA looks like the early leader here, from what we've heard.
