L.A. Opening: Who Surprised Us The Most

Feb. 29 -- There was a ton of talent on hand at Sunday's The Opening regional camp in Los Angeles. While everyone is raving about the four and five star kids and deservedly so, here's a look at at a few players not drawing a ton of national buzz that can really play...

One of the best parts about The Opening Regional camps isn't just watching the elite, Scout 300 type players in action but seeing a few other players shine on the big stage.


While you can't call Buena Park (Calif.) offensive lineman Ryan Nelson, Sacramento (Calif.) Sheldon receiver Alex Cook, Pasadena (Calif.) Muir defensive back Elijah Blades or Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman '18 quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson sleepers since they all have early offers, they all proved they're even better than anticipated.
