Jaylon Johnson Has Three Pac-12 Schools Recruiting Him Hardest

Mar. 8 -- Fresno (Calif.) Central East defensive back Jaylon Johnson has established himself as one of the hottest corner prospects out West over the last month or so...

There aren't many DB coaches anywhere in the country more respected than Fresno's Tony Perry, AKA, the 'DB Guru.' Perry has sent countless defensive backs to the college level so when he says his latest prodigy, Jaylon Johnson, could be the best he has ever coached, it's a pretty big statement.

Johnson is the younger brother of UCLA corner Johnny Johnson but is a different player physically. He's a long, athletic 6-foot-1 with good quickness and the speed to run with just about anyone.

His recruitment has taken off in the last month and Johnson is now pushing double digit scholarship offers. We caught up with Johnson at the Pylon 7v7 tourney in Vegas over the weekend and hesaid Cal, Oregon State and USC are recruiting him hardest, with Oklahoma being another school he's hoping to visit.
