Cordell Broadus to Return to UCLA Football

Mar. 9 -- Cordell Broadus, the four-star receiver prospect and son of rapper Snoop Dogg, will return to the UCLA football program this spring...

According to sources, Cordell Broadus is returning to the football field.

The former four-star receiver prospect from the 2015 recruiting class, and the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, walked away from his football career last August at the start of UCLA's fall camp.

http://www.scout.com/college/ucla/story/1574224-alert-cordell-broadus-qu... Broadus, the 6-2, 200-pounder from Las  Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, didn't report to UCLA's camp in San Bernardino, and Bruin Report Online broke the news that he was quitting football.  Walking away from the game caused a national media stir, since he garnered a great deal of attention as Snoop Dogg's son.

He remained at UCLA as a student, and said he wanted to pursue his filmmaking career.

Recently there have been some rumblings that Broadus would return, as was evident from his Twitter and Instagram posts indicating he was working out again and hinting at a return.

We've learned that we he will take the field for UCLA's spring practice, which starts March 29th.

Broadus, however, will be a walk-on status player, without a scholarship.
