Independence (Ore.) Central defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu (6-3, 280) is at 15 offers and more could be making their way to the four-star.
"UCLA was my most recent offer, Coach (Angus) McClure offered me," said Tuipulotu, who took a tour of the campus Monday. "Coach McClure gave me a great tour of the campus."
Before moving to Oregon, Tuipulotu lived in Los Angeles, so UCLA and USC, who has also offered, were schools he followed.
"I used to live in Hawthorne and Lawndale so I grew up watching UCLA and USC," said Tuipulotu. "I was excited when UCLA and USC offered me because I have family down there still."
But now that he's in Oregon, where he moved before his freshman year, Tuipulotu has spent more time watching the Ducks and they've left a big impression on him.
"I really like Oregon as a program," said Tuipulotu. "Coach (Rob) Aiken is recruiting me but I talk to some of the other coaches and I went down there recently for a basketball game and met Coach (Brady) Hoke and I talk with Coach (Mark) Helfrich."
Washington is also heavily after Tuipulotu.
"Coach (Ikaika) Malloe is mainly recruiting me and I've visited there and I like it a lot," said Tuipulotu.
Oregon State pursuing Tuipulotu, with T.J. Woods recruiting him for the Beavers while Kalani Sitake, the former Oregon State defensive coordinator, continues to recruit him now that he's at BYU.
"I want to get out and visit Michigan for sure, I know that," said Tuipulotu.
Tuipulotu said he's trying to stay open minded throughout the process.
"I'm still pretty wide open," said Tuipulotu. "I'm just hanging out right now and enjoying the process and getting used to it."
Tuipulotu said he plans to camp at both The Opening Oakland and The Opening Seattle regionals in May and June respectively.
