3-star DB Darren Hall Is Highest On Pac-12 Schools

Mar. 16 -- Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) cornerback Darren Hall has six offers, one from the Pac-12, but wants to play in the Pac-12 and is hoping a handful of schools from that conference extend offers...

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) defensive back Darren Hall has a half dozen offers early on.

"I have six offers, from HawaiiUtahNevadaUNLVColorado State and New Mexico," said Hall.

Hall has also been hearing regularly from Washington StateBYU, Columbia and Boise State and is hoping that California, Arizona, USC and UCLA pick up their interest.

"Utah is definitely up there from my offers and then the four Pac-12 schools I mentioned, those are four I'm really interested in," said Hall.  "I don't really have a dream school, but I really like those Pac-12 schools.  But definitely, the success recently that Utah has been having has moved them in that area."

Hall is originally from Pasadena and admitted that UCLA playing in the Rose Bowl has made them a favorite, along with USC, the other Southern California program.

"I'm from Pasadena so it would be super hard to turn down either of the L.A. schools if they offered," said Hall.

Hall is primarily being recruited as a corner but said he could play either corner or safety in college.

"I'm 6-1, 165, so most schools said that if I put more weight on, I'll play safety," said Hall.  "I can play the whole back end but I wouldn't mind safety.  My heart is just at corner."

Hall doesn't see an early decision coming.

"I will probably take it all the way to Signing Day," said Hall.  "If a dream school offered, it could be sooner.  I guess it could range anywhere from tomorrow to Signing Day, but I still kind of want to go through the process."

Academically, Hall has a 3.1 GPA and will take the SAT and ACT in May.
