Three-star Athlete Jordan Genmark-Heath Lines Up Northwest Swing

Apr. 8 -- One of the top athletes in the San Diego area is ready to hit the road to check out some Pac-12 suitors...

Jordan Genmark-Heath is originally from Sweden so although he enjoys the Southern California weather, he's not a stranger to the seasonal changes.

That's why the upcoming swing through the Pacific Northwest -- Genmark-Heath has trips lined up with OregonOregon State and Washington -- won't be too much of a shell shock as far as environments go.

No, the three-star athlete from San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic looks to continue building relationships with some of the coaches that are recruiting him. The Beavers have offered and he's been on the Huskies' campus before, so the three-city tour could be considered a reintroduction of sorts.

Genmark-Heath is a jumbo athlete with the capability to play at various positions, though he said recruiters are mainly looking at him at receiver and safety.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect previews his looming visits below, what he loves about California and also hints at interest in Michigan and UCLA:
