Alex Cook is easily among the top athletes we've seen this off-season, on both sides of the ball.
He was tremendous at the Opening Regional in L.A, had a strong showing at the Pylon 7v7 in Las Vegas and has very good film as well. He has a very good combination of size, speed, hands and body control and has the talent to play for any program out West.
Cook has already visited UCLA this spring and will check out a pair of Pac-12 schools over the next two weeks.
"I'm going to visit Washington this coming weekend on the 23rd and then Oregon the following weekend on the 30th," Cook said. "I would love to try and get out to Arizona as well. They have been recruiting me for a long time and I don't want to miss out on any opportunities.
"The plan for me is to make a decision before my season so some time in the summer. After these trips, I'll be able to sit back and evaluate all my options and then make a decision when it feels right."
Cook visited the Huskies last season and raved about the trip including the coaching staff, facilities and city of Seattle. The Bruins are a school he has called his childhood favorite and the Ducks have always been a school high on his list as well. Cal is another school you can't discount here and it definitely looks like Cook will be playing somewhere in the Pac-12 in two years.
