UCLA Still Hanging Around For 2018 WR Brian Hightower

Apr. 20 -- The University of Florida remains the team to beat for one of the nation's highly-touted wide receivers out of the 2018 class in Brian Hightower...

Not only did Brian Hightower relocate nearly 2,500 miles across the nation to the state of Florida, but he also has labeled the University of Florida as the front-runner in his recruitment after dropping into Gainesville for a visit earlier this month.

Hightower, a 2018 four-star wide receiver out of the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, is a California native that's slated to spend the next couple of days visiting with the Gators, Auburn and Florida StateAlabama was in line to receive a visit as well, but Hightower says that's no longer the case.

Hightower talks about the transition he's made over the offseason, why Jim McElwain's program holds the top spot in his recruitment, his interest in the Crimson Tide, additional schools that are squarely in the mix, and more in the video at the top of the page.

Note: Hightower said off-camera that UCLA is an additional school that's under strong consideration.
