Richard Cage Lands Arizona Offer, Will Camp With Boise State and Several Pac-12 Schools

May 4 -- Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt linebacker Richard Cage picked up his first offer late last week from Arizona and plans to be active on the summer camp circuit...

Richard Cage is a player we've seen a ton this spring playing for Ground Zero on the 7v7 circuit.

The interesting thing about Cage is when you watch his film, he plays more of a defensive end position and is an excellent natural pass rusher. He's strong in run support and physical at the point of attack.

You wouldn't think his game would translate that well to the 7v7 field but Cage has looked good all spring, showing he can move around, play in space and be fluid. He can run and shows the potential to play multiple positions at the next level.

On the recruiting front, the Arizona Wildcats were the first school to offer Cage and he's hoping to get out to Tucson for a visit. The athlete said he would also like to check out Boise State, UCLA, Utah and Washington State over the summer.
