UCLA has begun to recruit Ronald Rudd, the prospect from Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Chaffey College.
Rudd is a fairly hot commodity this spring, having picked up 12 offers in the last several months, with the most recent from Arizona State.
UCLA will check into Rudd's academics, and if UCLA is able to recruit him, the plan is for him to visit UCLA's campus soon.
Rudd is also friends with Kenny Clark, the UCLA defensive tackle that was recently taken in the first round of the NFL Draft, both being from the Inland Empire.
