Michigan, Notre Dame Come Calling for 2018 Five-Star Defensive Back Tyreke Johnson

May 21 -- Five-star 2018 defensive back Tyreke Johnson has been in possession of offers since middle school, but Michigan and Notre Dame were the schools that opted to step up to the plate with offers earlier this week...

Possessing an offer sheet that expanded into double-digits way back in the eighth grade, Tyreke Johnson is a five-star defensive back out of the 2018 class that will have the opportunity to team up with nearly any college across the map once it's time to close the book on his stellar prep career at Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian.

Johnson, who's just days removed from scooping up prestigious offers from Michigan and Notre Dame, hasn't went as far as arranging schools in a certain order, but UCLAAlabamaFloridaUSCLSUStanford, Notre Dame and Michigan are some of the schools highlighting his recruitment at this time.

Jim Mora and the Bruins have been consistent and near the very top of Johnson's list for a number of months, but the 6-foot-2, 185-pound defender is simply relishing the recruiting process with his junior campaign right around the corner.

Johnson opens up about his interest in Florida, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame and UCLA, and more in the video at the top of the page.
