Thanks to Mohamed Sanogo's prowess at Rock-Paper-Scissors Plano (Texas) West finished the day undefeated at the Frisco 7v7 State Qualifying Tournament and earned a spot in the The adidas Texas 7v7 Championships in College Station, Texas July 7-9.

The 6-foot-2, 237-pound linebacker was key in his team's play throughout the day, which included a win over cross-town rival Plano (Texas) East in the semifinal game. 

After the tournament he spoke with Scout about the latest developments in his recruitment, including an offer from Houston, which was a big one to his offers list. He also spoke about some camp stops that he had on his radar this summer. 

Sanogo also has offer from schools like IndianaRiceTulane and Air Force and is receiving interest from a number of the other top schools in the area. He said he also may camp with UCLA.

Sanogo had a great performance at The Opening in Dallas earlier in the spring, walking away with MVP honors in what was to possibly be considered as the most loaded linebacker grouping during the camp series.  

He is rated as a Scout four-star prospect, the No. 2 ILB in the state of Texas and the No. 299 prospect in the Scout Top 300.
