It would be the first real action that McKenzie had been a part of since before tearing his knee in September.

And McKenzie had no problem getting back into a groove.

"It have me a lot of confidence and it boosted it a lot," said McKenzie.  "I kind of expected to do well but it was a nice surprise."

McKenzie measured in at 6-5, 307, though he's working to get down to 295.

But he looked good in the one-on-one's playing right tackle and showed no effects of the knee injury.

Since then, Arizona State offered the four-star and UCLA reaffirmed their early offer to him.

"A lot of schools have been hitting me up to come to their camp since I did well there and they could offer me too," said McKenzie.  "Arizona State offered me the week after the camp and UCLA came by the school and re-offered me."

UCLA will likely get a visit from him this summer.

"I got a chance to talk with Coach (Adrian) Klemm and he's a cool dude and I like that coach," said McKenzie.  "He likes me as a right tackle.  I went down there when my brother (Kahlil) was getting recruited and I'm going to go and get down there."

McKenzie visited UCLA a couple times with Kahlil when he was being recruited and it's the school his mother attended.

"I really do like UCLA, that was one of my favorite visits when I went with Kahlil," said McKenzie.

Arizona State offensive line coach Chris Thomsen also offered McKenzie the following week.

"Coach Thomsen offered me and now I think I'm going to go down there and visit," said McKenzie.

A visit there will likely result in a trip to Arizona too.

"If I go down there, I'll probably go to Arizona," said McKenzie.  "Coach (Jim) Michalzik is recruiting me."

McKenzie is also planning to camp down at Tennessee where his older brother is heading in to his sophomore season and he plans to re-visit Knoxville in the fall.

"Tennessee is still waiting to offer me, but they've actually been talking to me the most," said McKenzie.  "Coach (Don) Mahoney is recruiting me."

Next week, McKenzie will camp in front of Michigan coaches at their satellite camp at Antioch HS and will also camp in front of Oregon and USC at their satellite camps at Contra Costa College..

"Next Thursday will be the first satellite camp and that's with USC.  Coach (Neil) Callaway and Coach (Tyson) Helton are who I talk to," said McKenzie.  "Then I'll do camps with Michigan and Oregon.  Coach Jay Harbaugh is who I talk to at Michigan and Coach (Steve) Greatwood is who I talk to at Oregon."

McKenzie won't be making an early decision.

"I'm going to probably take all five visits," said McKenzie.  "I know I want to go to LSU, Michigan and Tennessee for sure and then probably USC and UCLA too."
