UCLA Target Jaylan Shaw Intends to Visit Campus Soon

July 10 -- With both Los Angeles programs joining the race with scholarship offers last month, one of the area's more intriguing corner prospects is eyeing another visit to UCLA...

Evaluation Notes:

Jaylan Shaw hasn't started at the high school level given the recent depth at state powerhouse Corona (Calif.) Centennial, but the three-star cornerback appears to be in line to star this fall. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect turned in good performances during the June school camps and looked fluid once again at the Battle at the Beach on Saturday, sticking to receivers on the edge and forcing quarterbacks into some difficult throws. Shaw isn't afraid to take risks at the position and is very instinctual, using his length to disrupt routes and turning his hips quickly to keep up with receivers down field.

Programs Mentioned in Video:

UCLAUSCBoise State and Washington State.
