Los Angeles (Calif.) Hawkins 2018 five-star receiver Jalen Hall is already ranked as the No. 1 prospect at his position in the 2018 class and he's playing opposite the top 2017 receiver, Joseph Lewis, at Hawkins.
Hall showed that he certainly fit in with the 2017 class at The Opening. He's a very smooth route runner with sure hands and because of his size, he's difficult for corners to try and press, easily shedding his defenders.
He's got good speed and will continue to get faster and he's still a little on the slight side but has plenty of room to add weight and muscle, which should make him even more difficult to cover.
Hall can go up and get the ball, has excellent body control and does a great job of separating from the secondary on deeper throws.
He's a top 10 player in the 2018 class and will be in the mix for top five until the end.
Hall is wide open, with over 30 offers, and he checked out Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC during the spring. He has said he'll wait until closer to Signing Day 2018 to make a decision.
