2018 UCLA Recruiting Board: Offense

July 29 -- With the summer camp circuit done, we take a look at whom UCLA has offered on offense in the 2018 class...

It's still a little over 18 months until the class of 2018 can sign.

But it's never too early to take a look at which prospects in the 2018 class UCLA has offered.  And UCLA used their Bruin Elite Camp to make a number of offers to 2018 prospects.

NOTE: This list is just 2018 offensive prospects we know that UCLA has offered through the spring evaluation and summer camp period.

The 2018 quarterback class out West should be pretty strong and UCLA made a couple of offers to 2018 quarterbacks, two to uncommitted and two to commits, the week of their Bruin Elite Camp.  With Thompson-Robinson and Rising, it could be a matter of who pops first, but UCLA is on the short list of each of the Scout 100 passers.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman

Cameron Rising, Newbury Park (Calif.)

Matt Corral, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian- (Committed to USC)

Jacob Sirmon, Bothell (Wash.)- (Committed to Washington)

Jack Tuttle, San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills

Brevin White, West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade

Re-Al Mitchell, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco

Tanner McKee, Corona (Calif.) Centennial

Blake Stenstrom, Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian

Griffin O'Connor, Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison

Hamish McClure, Encino (Calif.) Crespi

Running Backs

The running back class won't be as strong in the West as this year's 1-2 punch of Harris/Carr.  Pledger is the top back in the West and top three nationally and UCLA is high on his list but he's also attracted plenty of national attention.  Brown was offered after the Elite Camp after impressing Kennedy Polamalu and his bruising power back style is exactly what UCLA is trying to get in a back.

T.J. Pledger, West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade

Chris Brown, Oceanside (Calif.) El Camino

Jaelen Gill, Westerville (Ohio) South

Justin Watkins, Ocala (Fla.) Vanguard- Committed to Florida State

Other Names to Know:

Jermar Jefferson, Redondo (Calif.) Union

Travis Dye, Norco (Calif.)

The receiver class, on the other hand, will be very strong in the West, with the No. 1 pass-catcher again coming from the Southland and a number of other Scout 300 receivers calling Southern California home, plus another in Hightower, who used to call Southern California home but is still very high on the Bruins.  UCLA offered three of these prospects after their camp- Williams, Remigio and Cooley and offered Fuller after seeing him on the satellite camp circuit.  And don't be surprised if Spiker and Allen land offers sooner rather than later.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Brian Hightower, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Chase Williams, Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt

Devon Cooley, Buena Park (Calif.)

Eric Fuller, Los Angeles (Calif.) Hawkins

Jalen Hall, Los Angeles (Calif.) Hawkins

Jermaine Eskridge, Tampa (Fla.) Thomas Jefferson

Joshua Moore, Yoakum (Texas)

Nikko Remigio, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Terrace Marshall, Bossier City (La.) Parkway

Other Names to Know:

Marquis Spiker, Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley

Austin Osborne, Mission Viejo (Calif.)

Manuel Allen, Corona (Calif.) Centennial

Jalen Nailor, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman

Andre Hunt, Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger

Tight Ends

The tight end class comes back to the pack in this class after the strength of the 2017 class but Jordan is one of the best nationally and UCLA is doing very well for him early.  UCLA absolutely needs a tight end or two in this class, especially with the 2017 class not looking promising at the position.  Muhammad camped with the Bruins, coming out from Texas, but Jordan is clearly their top prospect at the position and would love a package deal with him and Thompson-Robinson.

Brevin Jordan, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman

Camren McDonald, Long Beach (Calif.) Poly

Mustapha Muhammad, Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point

Other Names to Know:

Tae Le, Newport Beach (Calif.) Corona del Mar

Jake Peters, Santa Margarita (Calif.)

R.J. Stone, San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian

Offensive Line

The offensive line class in the West will be substantially down in 2018, but guys should pop up during their junior season.  UCLA offered its first two in-state linemen in Brown and Dedich after both shined at the Big Man Camp. Brown is the top tackle in the state and Dedich the top center nationally while Sewell is the West's top lineman overall.

Tommy Brown, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Justin Dedich, Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral

Penei Sewell, St. George (Utah) Desert Hills

Will Lawrence, Memphis (Tenn.) Harding

Barton Clement, Missouri City (Texas) Marshall
