Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei cornerback Quentin Lake will continue the Lake family legacy in Westwood.
The three-star cornerback and son of Bruin great Carnell Lake committed to UCLA Bruins on Tuesday morning.
Lake shined at the Bruin Elite Camp in June and was offered by Demetrice Martin that evening. A week before, USC offered the Mater Dei standout.
He told Scout in early July that the Bruins were his top school and they were his childhood favorite, after his father starred for the Bruins from 1985-1988. Carnell, in fact, is still UCLA's career leader in tackles for loss and is fourth all-time in sacks.
The younger Lake can play cornerback but also has the size and skill-set to play safety, possessing the position versatility that Martin covets.
He's the fifth commit to the Bruins since August 1st and the third in the secondary.
Lake follows Jaylan Shaw in committing to the Bruins at cornerback, with Shaw also offered after the Bruin Elite Camp.
