But Jones won't close the door on any other schools just yet.

"We could bump it down to a top four right now," said Jones. "HawaiiCaliforniaUtah and Oregon State and you could put in Fresno State too."

Jones highlighted each of his top schools.

Hawaii: "The head coach is from the Bay Area (Nick Rolovich) where I'm from and we connect in that way.  And who wouldn't want to play on the Islands?

California: "They have an excellent education program and I know that football isn't forever and Cal has a great education.  Coach (Fred) Tate is recruiting me to Cal.

Utah: "Coach (Jim) Harding is recruiting me and so is Coach (Morgan) Scalley.   I definitely want to take an official visit out there and see how Utah is."

Oregon State: "Coach (Dave) Baldwin is recruiting me at Oregon State.  I will definitely be taking an official visit there."

Jones said that Hawaii and Oregon State are the likeliest to get an early official visit from him.

"I'm working on setting up the visits to Hawaii and Oregon State first," said Jones.

But Jones said he's still open to a number of other schools.

"USC was supposed to come up early this season.  I've been talking with Coach (John) Baxter about possibly being a hybrid outside linebacker for them."

And UCLA is also staying in contact with him.

"I talk to UCLA a lot and Coach Angus (McClure) and they're still talking with me about watching me this fall," said Jones  "They just haven't offered yet, but they're still interested."

Colorado and Washington State are too.

"Coach (Jim) Leavitt and Coach (Klayton) Adams are talking with me at Colorado and I've heard from a couple of coaches at Washington State too and they're going to watch me this fall," said Jones.

Jones said he's at 6-4.5, 249 as his senior season approaches.

Inderkum will open with Elk Grove (Calif.) before they take on El Cerrito (Calif.) in an intersectional game, where he'll match up with four-star lineman Aaron Banks.

"That will be the matchup of the season for me," said Jones.  "But first, we have Elk Grove."
