5-Star UCLA Target Darnay Holmes in First Game of Senior Season

Aug. 30 -- UCLA's biggest target in the 2017 class, 5-star prospect Darnay Holmes of Calabasas, flashed some of his elite talent Friday night in the first game of his high school season...

Darnay Holmes, the 5-11, 185 pound defensive back/wide receiver from Calabasas (Calif.), launched his senior campaign Friday when Calabasas faced Agoura.

Holmes played the first half and then one series of the third quarter before sitting the rest of the way as loaded Calabasas pulled away.

Holmes is the nation's #1-ranked cornerback and the #8-ranked prospect in the nation for the 2017 class.  It's long been thought that UCLA is the clear leader for the talented athlete who plans to announce his decision in December.

It's very likely that Holmes will legitimately have a chance to play both ways in college, as you can see from the footage.

In the video, Holmes is #5 in white.
