No. 12 WR Tarik Black looking at two more trips; Auburn, Alabama, Notre Dame, Stanford, UCLA in contention for them

Aug. 31 -- Cheshire (Conn.) Academy receiver Tarik Black will be at Michigan this weekend, and is working on two other visits...

Tarik Black, the No. 12 receiver in the nation, will be at Michigan this weekend for his first official visit, and could be at an SEC school next weekend.

Black's father, Malik, told Scout trips to Auburn and Alabama are in the works, but neither visit is finalized. UCLAStanford and Notre Dame remain in contention for visits as well from the Cheshire (Conn.) Academy standout.

"We're working on details now for Auburn on Sept. 10 and Alabama on Nov. 12," Black's father said. "A few others in the mix for the final two visits."

Originally, Auburn was not in Black's top five, but a summer visit, and strong and persistent recruiting by the Tigers' staff now has Auburn heavily involved. The Tigers host Arkansas State on Sept. 10, which is the week before Black's season begins.

Alabama hosts Mississippi State on Nov. 12. Michigan opens the season Saturday against Hawaii.

Cheshire Academy ends its season in early November, which gives Black plenty of time to make his final two visits.

Black plans to make his college decision known during a January all-American game.
