Bubba Bolden was committed to USC earlier in the process but re-opened things in the summer and the decision appears to have paid off given the number of other programs that have joined the pursuit of the No. 1-rated safety in the West region.
The four-star prospect from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman makes plays on the football, has the capability to slide into the box with his physicality and shows great awareness as routes develop, proving why he has become such a hot commodity.
Ohio State and Oregon became the latest schools to offer and Bolden told Scout.com on Friday following a big victory against Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco that he intends to officially visit both places. Bolden also recently stopped by Arizona State, which has long been a contender for his signature, and spoke highly of UCLA, which had defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin in attendance seeing him in person Friday. Colorado is also mentioned as a possible landing spot.
