Calabasas (Calif.) cornerback Darnay Holmes, the No. 1 cornerback nationally in the 2017 class, has adjusted his official visit schedule.
"Darnay is not taking any officials until November," said his father, Darick. "We want him to take them when a lot of those games count more."
Holmes was scheduled to take an official visit to Nebraska this month, but will push that back to November.
And he was originally scheduled to visit Michigan in September but that too will be later in the fall.
He will do an unofficial visit this month, to a Pac-12 school.
"He's going to visit Arizona for the Washington game for sure," said Darick Holmes.
Holmes' older brother, Darick Jr., plays for the Wildcats.
For now, the first official visit he's expected to take will be to Ohio State on November 5th, when the Buckeyes host Nebraska.
Holmes said this summer that he will announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
