The 2018 tight end prospect from Newport Beach (Calif.) Corona Del Mar, Tae Le, had already gotten noticed coming into his junior season, being 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, with sure hands and a powerful frame.

Le then went off for 231 yards and three touchdowns on nine catches Friday night, including an 88-yard catch-and-run to finish off the scoring for Corona Del Mar, in its 42-13 win over Lake Forest (Calif.) Lake Toro.

"That's what we strive for her at CDM," Le said.

Le said he worked hard over the summer and, so far, it's paid off.  He has 18 grabs for 346 yards in three games.

Le has so far heard from Utah, has an offer from Yale, and has been hearing from other Ivy League schools, as well, which is no surprise, considering his 4.1 GPA. He attended UCLA's camps last June.

"Some of my dream schools would be in the Pac-12," Le said. "I'm definitely open to other schools. I'm a Stanford Cardinal fan. I'm a fan of UCLA and USCWashington, all those schools."
