Junior defensive back Aashari Crosswell is among the top safety prospects in the 2018 class. He's an early four-star recruit and rated the No. 65 overall player in the class.
Crosswell is intriguing for a number of reasons. He has a long, athletic frame with plenty of room to add additional weight without getting bulky or too top heavy. He has always been able to cover well for a safety, is a physical player who loves to hit but has the range to make plays in the secondary as well.
On the recruiting front, Crosswell said he's hearing the most from the Michigan Wolverines, Tennessee Volunteers, UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans. He took summer visits to Arizona and Notre Dame and said he plans to take all five of his official visits before making a decision.
