That hasn't stopped other schools from trying and Carter's father told us last night that his sons favorite school right now is outside of the South.
Carter, 6-3, 200 pounds is one of the nation's top three wideouts and has world-class speed. He became the first athlete to ever win the 100m, 200m and the 400m at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California earlier in the year. As a junior, Carter, caught 28 passes for 820 yards and 12 touchdowns and is one everyboyd's All-American list.
"He'll definitely do both sports in college," Xavier's father said. "Right now, he told me his favorite school is UCLA. He really enjoyed his unofficial visit out there and is planning to take an official visit soemtime during the football season to see what the game day atmosphere is like. Florida, LSU, South Carolina and Miami are also high on his list and he wants to take all of his trips before making a decision."
Carter has been hosting the head coaches from each of his favorite track programs all week and had LSU in the home, parents alma mater, just last night.
