Scout five-star Joseph Lewis was officially added to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl roster during a press conference ceremony at Augustus Hawkins High School in California.
At the time of his selection the 6-foot-2 1/2, 200-pounder is rated as the No. 1 WR nationally and checks in as No. 13 prospect in the Scout Top 300.
Lewis has been described as “a receiver who has excellent body control, is an explosive leaper and is great in jump ball situations,” by Scout.com Analyst Greg Biggins.
Lewis is considering programs such as Alabama, Arizona, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA and USC.
Those selected will play in the annual East vs. West match-up on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised live on NBC at 1 p.m. EST and its 90-man roster will feature a strong portion of Scout's most highly rated prospects.
