On ASU game film:

The defense, we did pretty well. We made some mistakes, of course, that will happen throughout the game, but we did pretty well, I felt like.

On Washington State’s rushing game:

That doesn’t surprise me at all.  I feel like them game planning for people, people know they pass a lot so they’ll hit you with someone else.

On bouncing back from the ASU loss:

It was a tough loss. Everyone seems headed in the right direction.  We’re being positive towards each other and that’s going to help us out.

On starting 1-2 in Pac-12 play:

To be honest, those years are those years. This is a new team so this will be a different way going about it.  I think this will be a pivotal game for us.

On punt return:

I just need to be myself. Get to the ball, square it up, get my whole body in front of it. It wasn’t nerves, it was the ball being kicked weird and from him being a left footed punter, the ball tailed. I thought I was under the ball but I wasn’t. I have to catch the ball though.

On River Cracraft and Gabe Marks:

They’re real good football players and will be a good challenge for our secondary and we’ll be prepared for it.

On if last years loss to WSU sticks with them:

That has definitely stuck in my mind. They got one at the end of the game and that was on us. We have to go out and have a good week of practice and win this game.
