Martin Andrus (Shotgun Spratling)

Four-Star DL Martin Andrus Has Nebraska, Oregon and UCLA On Him Hardest

Oct. 22 -- Los Angeles (Calif.) defensive lineman Martin Andrus was originally set to visit Michigan this weekend but will postpone the trip until later in the year.

Martin Andrus is among the top interior lineman in the country and has the ability to play defensive tackle or nose guard, depending on the scheme.

Andrus is a big, physical kid who can stuff the run, get up the field and make plays in the run game or passing game. For a player his size, he's very agile, shows good short area quickness and can stop and start, change direction and has the flexibility of a player half his size.

Andrus is a player we think will make a big jump in his game when he hits a college weight room and improves his overall strength and athleticism. We like his toughness and the motor he plays with and feel his upside is very high.

On the recruiting front, Andrus had visits scheduled with Nebraska in September and Michigan this coming weekend but wasn't able to make either trip.

"I'm going to try and re-schedule both of them for later in the year," Andrus said. "The only trip I have locked in right now is with Oregon for November 11.

"Oregon, along with Nebraska and UCLA are the schools recruiting me the hardest right now. I still haven't narrowed my list yet though, I'm still looking at several other programs and have no timetable for a decision. I just want to go through the process, take my visits and go from there."
