Villanova to bring in 11 ranked players in 2017 & 2018
Villanova is using their preseason celebration event, Hoops Mania, as a massive recruiting tool.
Coming off a national championship last season, the Wildcats are looking to take advantage of the fan fair and celebration by inviting prospects from four different classes, including some of their key targets in 2017.
They'll also host a large number of underclassmen.
Texas has massive weekend
Texas already has a top 10 class in 2017, but they have a chance to improve that ranking if they were to add either of the two recruits headed to campus this weekend.
Shaka Smart will host Scout's No. 2 overall prospect, Mohamed Bamba, for an official visit. Bamba has also taken an official visit to Michigan, plus has been by Kentucky and Harvard recently. This is the only visit Bamba has scheduled at the moment.
The Longhorns will also host their top point guard target, Matt Coleman. Coleman, a standout at Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill, has already taken official visits to Duke and Stanford. Although he hasn't set a timetable for a decision, Coleman is likely to decide during the early period.
