Prospect of the Week

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei 2019 quarterback J.T. Daniels is already among the best prospects in the West, regardless of position and regardless of class.  And he's been stellar all season, with his latest efficient performance coming against Mater Dei rival Anaheim (Calif.) Servite.  Daniels, who has offers from coast-to-coast including from Arizona State, Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC, was 26-for-28 for 327 yards and six touchdowns in a 58-16 win over the Friars.  On the year, Daniels is 207-for-257 for 3,102 yards and 47 touchdown passes.  He has just three more incompletions than touchdown passes this season for the unbeaten Monarchs.

Visit of the Week

http://www.scout.com/player/194460-bubba-bolden

As of now, there are no marquee visitors tripping to Pac-12 schools this weekend.  But all eyes will be on Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman safety Bubba Bolden, the No. 1 safety in the West (and No. 2 nationally).  Bolden's top schools include a wide array of Pac-12 schools, including Arizona StateColoradoUCLA and USC but this weekend, he'll be joining his teammate Tate Martell in Columbus for an official visit to Ohio State. Bolden has three teammates committed to the Buckeyes, Martell, receiver Tyjon Lindsey and defensive tackle Haskell Garrett so the Buckeyes have so natural advantages there.  But the Pac-12 programs are hoping he leaves Columbus without committing and gives them a chance.

Prospect On the Rise

Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio has been one of the top players in the Bay Area all season but he's finally seeing his recruitment really take off.  A one-time commit to Washington State, Habibi-Likio has added a host of Pac-12 offers in the past couple weeks ever since he decommitted, with Oregon and nearby Cal the most recent schools to offer the three-star in the last week.  And there could still be a few more Pac-12 schools to add their names to the mix since the release of Habibi-Likio's senior film.

Underclassmen of the Week

http://www.scout.com/player/212842-johnny-wilson

Calabasas (Calif.) is loaded with top-tier talent in their 2017 and 2018 class, with a number of Scout 100 and Scout 300 prospects dotting the roster.  And the train of talent doesn't look to be ending anytime soon, with freshman receiver Johnny Wilson the next name to know in the Conejo Valley.  With UCLA head coach Jim Mora looking on, the 2020 receiver was on the receiving end of four passes from Nebraska commit Tristan Gebbia, two of them going for touchdowns.  After the game, UCLA offered Wilson, giving the bigtime youngster his first of what will be many offers.

Commitment Watch

http://www.scout.com/player/197441-aliki-vimahi

Kahuku (Hawaii) defensive end Aliki Vimahi made no secret about his love for USC when the Trojans offered him last week.  And he ended up suiting up for Kahuku's game last weekend with USC sleeves on each arm.  So the Trojans are in a very good position for Vimahi. While he's planning to take three official visits, to Virginia, Georgia Tech and Utah, the still highly coveted nature of a USC offer could accelerate that cycle and he could pop sooner rather than later for the Trojans.

National recruiting analysts Greg Biggins and Brandon Huffman and Mountain region analyst Blair Angulo compiled this notebook.
