UCLA Prospects In Weekend Games - Week 10

Nov. 4 -- -- Check out where UCLA prospects will be playing this weekend throughout the country...


UCLA has targets on both teams in this playoff game between state power Bingham and Lehi.  Lehi has UCLA tight end target Carson Terrell as well as 2018 quarterback Cammon Cooper.  Bingham has the West’s top defensive tackle, No. 2 ranked Jay Tufele as well as Oregon commit Langi Tuifua on the defensive line.

Calabasas (Calif.) vs. Moorpark (Calif.)

Calabasas is loaded, featuring UCLA target Darnay Holmes , the No. 1 cornerback in the 2017 class nationally, plus 2018 four-star corner Bookie Radley-Hiles as well as a pair of Nebraska commits in quarterback Tristan Gebbia and receiver Keyshawn Johnson. And UCLA offered 2020 receiver Johnny Wilson this last week after Jim Mora saw him in person.  Moorpark has Navy quarterback commit Tyger Goslin, Colorado State commit Scott Brooks on the offensive line and BYU tight end commit Bentley Hanshaw.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei vs. San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra

The Monarchs have a ton of talent and a slew of prospects UCLA is recruiting, including Bruin commit Quentin Lake in the secondary.  Plus there are a number of other players the Bruins have offered in the 2018 and 2019 classes.  UCLA’s top in-state tackle prospect in 2018, four-star Tommy Brown, anchors the Monarchs’ offensive line while at receiver is 2018 four-stars Nikko Remigio and Amon-Ra St. Brown, who both have offers and 2019 prospect Horace McCoy.

Winter Park (Fla.) West Orange vs. Ocoee (Fla.)

UCLA quarterback commit Austin Burton leads West Orange in their final regular season game.

Chaffey (Calif.) College vs, El Camino (Calif.) College

UCLA commit Ronald Rudd and Chaffey face a tough opponent when they take on El Camino.

Redlands (Calif.) East Valley vs. Redlands (Calif.) Citrus Valley

UCLA’s five-star defensive end commit Jaelan Phillips tries to help REV clinch an unbeaten league season when they take on Citrus Valley. 

Roseville (Calif.) vs. Roseville (Calif.) Oakmont

UCLA tight end commit Jimmy Jaggers has been getting it done on defense as well and he tries to help Roseville top crosstown rival Oakmont and keep their outside shot at a league title alive.

Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon vs. Lancaster (Calif.) Paraclete

UCLA commit Kanan Ray and Sierra Canyon look to stay unbeaten against Paraclete.

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman vs. Las Vegas (Nev.) Sierra Vista

Scout’s defending national champions, Bishop Gorman, continues their in-state competition. While Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell will start for the Gaels, 2018 four-star quarterback and UCLA target Dorian Thompson-Robinson will play receiver, split out next to 2018 four-star tight end target Brevin Jordan.  Defensively, two more UCLA targets lead the Gaels, four-star safety Bubba Bolden and 2018 four-star linebacker Palaie Gaoteote.

Murrieta (Calif.) Valley vs. Murrieta (Calif.) Mesa

Murrieta Valley has two Power 5 receivers in Colorado commit Maurice Bell and 2018 four-star Marquis Spiker, who UCLA offered this fall and 2019 four-star quarterback Hank Bachmeier. 

Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral vs. Temecula (Calif.) Valley

Chaparral has 2018 offensive line target Justin Dedich, who UCLA offered at their Big Man camp in June, and teammate Steven Jones, who the Bruins are watching, plus Cal commit and former UCLA recruit Michael Onyemaobi. 

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly vs. Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan

Poly has UCLA recruits Cam McDonald (2018) at tight end and safety Josh Talbott (2017). 

Concord (Calif.) De La Salle vs. Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista

De La Salle has defensive tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa, a 2018 four-star who has a few early Pac-12 offers, including one from UCLA. Monte Vista has Washington commit Jake Haener at quarterback and USC commit Erik Krommenhoek at tight end.

Mission Viejo (Calif.) vs. San Clemente (Calif.)

Mission Viejo is home to one of UCLA’s top defensive back targets in 2018 in four-star Olaijah Griffin while also having 2018 four-star receiver Austin Osborne.  San Clemente has one-time UCLA target Jack Sears at quarterback, the four-star now committed to Duke.  The winner wins the South Coast League title. 

Antioch (Calif.) vs. Pittsburg (Calif.)

Antioch features UCLA running back recruit Najee Harris, the No. 1 player in the country, who UCLA is still trying with.  Pitt has 2019 athlete Willie Harts, who has an offer from BYU.

Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian vs. Pasadena (Calif.) La Salle

UCLA’s first commit to the 2017 class was Salesian linebacker Rahyme Johnson, and while he decommitted, the Bruins are back recruiting him and he and teammate Deommodore Lenoir, a commit to Oregon.

Los Angeles (Calif.) Hawkins vs. Los Angeles (Calif.) Manual Arts

Hawkins is led by UCLA receiver targets Joseph Lewis, Jalen Hall and Eric Fuller.

Los Angeles (Calif.) vs. Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw

Los Angeles and 2017 four-star defensive tackle and UCLA recruit Martin Andrus takes on Crenshaw, who features athlete Daiyan Henley. 

Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey vs. Los Angeles (Calif.) Locke

Dorsey features the top prospect in the West in 2019 in Kayvon Thibodeaux from Dorsey and 2019 running back Charles Mincy.

Provo (Utah) Timpview and UCLA safety target Chaz Ah Youo play Salt Lake City (Utah) East. Oceanside (Calif.) El Camino and 2018 running back Chris Brown take on Oceanside (Calif.).  2018 four-star safety Isaac Taylor and San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine face Point Loma.  Concord (Calif.) Clayton Valley and offensive lineman Jalen McKenzie play Moraga (Calif.) Campolindo.  Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) and UCLA target Thomas Graham face Chino Hills (Calif.).   Claremont (Calif.) and 2018 four-star linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu play Glendora (Calif.). 


Portland (Ore.) Jesuit and UCLA commit Jaxson Kirkland have a first round playoff bye after South Eugene (Ore.) forfeited their first round game. Kahuku (Hawaii) and defensive end Aliki Vimahi have a playoff bye.

Thursday Results:

Corona (Calif.) Centennial and UCLA commit Jaylan Shaw beat Riverside (Calif.) King, 52-7. Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt and UCLA 2018 target Chase Williams topped Norco (Calif.), 52-51. 

Season Complete:

UCLA defensive end target Alden Tofa and West Jordan (Utah) ended their season last week.
