UCLA Basketball Stays at No. 16 in Associated Press Top 25 Poll

Nov. 14 -- After winning its first two games of the season, the UCLA men's basketball team again checked in at No. 16 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday...

There was very little movement in the Associated Press Top 25 poll following the first week of action and UCLA remained in the same position, slotting in at No. 16 after kicking off the season with two victories.

The Bruins are third among Pac-12 programs, with Oregon sliding up a spot from No. 5 to No. 4 and Arizona staying at No. 10. California entered the poll for the first time at No. 25.

UCLA, which scored 119 and 102 points against Pacific and CSUN, respectively, returns to Pauley Pavilion on Thursday night for a meeting with San Diego at 8 p.m. PT. The Bruins will then face Long Bech State on Sunday night.

Five players are averaging double-digit points through the first two games for UCLA, spearheaded by Bryce Alford at 25. True freshman Lonzo Ball is averaging a team-high 36 minutes played per game.
