Najee Harris, the nation's No. 1 prospect, won his playoff game last weekend with his Antioch High School team.
That means he'll play again Dec. 3rd, which makes it unlikely he takes an official visit that weekend, without many official visit weekend opportunities left.
To date, The only official visit Harris has taken was to UCLA Nov. 11th-13th.
Harris is an early enrollee, so he has to sign his NLI sometime between Dec. 14th and Jan. 15th, and then probably enroll sometime in the first couple of weeks of January.
You would think he'd be able to sign and then take his visit before he enrolls, but there is an NCAA Dead Period that starts on Dec. 12th and goes through Jan. 11th. Recruits can't take official visits during Dead Periods.
Harris, who is verbally committed to Alabama, will take his official visit to Alabama this weekend, as planned.
But Harris cancelled his Michigan official visit a couple of weekends ago because of an Antioch playoff game. He also recently said he wanted to take official visits to USC and Ohio State, but he'll only have the weekend of Dec. 11th available to fit in one of those three visits.
We've heard it's unlikely Harris will take mid-week visits.
Obviously, there are some developments left to happen. But it will be interesting to see what official visits Harris does take. The less official visits Harris takes, the better chances UCLA has to be the flip destination for the five-star running back.
It's definitely something to watch.
