Thompson has 13 offers, and his top three have been there throughout.
The 6-4, 250-lb. Thompson said he is leaning towards staying in-state, giving UCLA and USC an edge, but is looking forward to visiting Michigan and the Big House, and visiting Colorado. "I am looking forward to going out there. I want to make sure I have seen everything before I make my decision."
Thompson is hoping to make his decision by late September. "I want to get it over with when I get back from Michigan and Colorado, so I know I will have seen what I need to," said Thompson.
Thompson attended UCLA's Junior Day and some fall practices. Now, with summer ending and September 1st coming soon, he is prepared for the coaches to begin calling. "I know they can start calling next week, but I am just getting geared up for playing. I want to get out there and start up. I've worked hard this summer to get ready for my senior season."
Thompson's childhood favorite was UCLA, but he hasn't declared a leader amongst the Bruins and USC. "I'll know soon. Then I'll be ready to decide," said Thompson.
