On the loss:

We went out and fought as hard as we could but it didn't go our way. It's disappointing but that's life sometimes.

On his slow start:

They were bringing some good pressure. It was harder to see my reads.  Our line battled and I was trying back there.

On how tough the game was:

It's extremely hard and very disappointing. I gave it everything I had. I can look at myself in the mirror.

On the need to be more physical next year:

I think we are. It's not the physicality, it's more executing. We struggled executing and it's hurt us the whole season. Our guy's battled and I am just glad to be a part of it

On how he will remember this season:

It was a tough season. It didn't go the way I wanted it to. I got an opportunity I waited a long time for, and I gave it all I had, and at the end of the day that's got to be good enough. I would have loved for it to go a different way, but it is what it is.
