Aaron Banks, one of the most heavily coveted offensive line recruits in the nation, will make his college choice on December 9.
Banks has taken official visits to Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon and unofficially visited UCLA and USC. Several other schools including Arizona State, Nebraska and Washington have remained involved as well.
"I may take another official visit this coming weekend but I have to check my schedule," Banks said. "I don't have anything set right now. I have a home visit with Oregon tonight (Sunday), Notre Dame on Monday and ASU on Tuesday.
Banks said he spoke with a number of coaches Sunday night, including UCLA offensive line coach Adrian Klemm, to set up more in-home visits.
"Michigan will be coming by the school on Thursday and UCLA might come in for a home visit next Monday. I'm still figuring things out here but by the end of the home visits, I should have a good idea of what I want to do."
Banks is a versatile lineman who could play multiple positions at the next level. He plays tackle for El Cerrito but with his frame and strength, we have him projected as a guard in college. He's a mauler, very physical but moves well and has a very nice upside to him.
