Big Visit Weekend -- for UCLA Hoops

Jan. 20 -- While this time of year it's usually the football program having big weekend visits, on Saturday for the Arizona game there will also be a big contingent of UCLA basketball recruits on campus...

UCLA basketball will host a pretty impressive group of recruits, all on unofficial visits, for the Arizona game Saturday.

The committed 2017 prospects coming to campus will be point guard Jaylen Hands, from El Cajon (Calif.) Foothills Christian, and power forward, Cody Riley, from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon.

Riley will bring along a pretty illustrious teammate of his, Scout's No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2018 class nationally, Marvin Bagley.  UCLA is thought to be doing well with the five-star, extremely talented power forward, and it's always good to get him on campus.

Another huge name is the nation's No. 25-ranked prospect for 2018, five-star point guard Tre Jones from Minnesota.  With there being a lack of point guards in the west, UCLA will probably need to go out nationally to find one for 2018, and Jones would pretty much be the idea guy.

Power forward prospect Taeshon Cherry, the nation's No. 33 prospect in 2018, will be at Pauley. Cherry is thought to have Arizona as his leader while also strongly considering UCLA.

The No. 1 player in the west for 2019, small forward prospect Cassius Stanley, from North Hollywood (Calif. Harvard Westlake, is expected.

The cousin of current Bruin Isaac Hamilton, Bryce Hamilton, a wing from Pasadena who is asserting himself as one of the best prospects in SoCal for 2018, will visit.

Marcus Bagley, the younger brother of Marvin, who is a freshman at Sierra Canyon and has an offer from UCLA, will be with the Sierra Canyon contingent.

Also expected is Warren Washington, a promising 2018 power forward San Marcos Mission Hills.
