2017 West Top 150

Rarely has the West been as loaded with top end talent as it is in the 2017 class.

But it's not just top end talent that is the story- it is one of the deepest years the region has seen in recent memory.

Three of the top five players in the country call the West home and four of the top eight.

And the entire Top 10 in the West is made up of five-stars.

The top two players in the country are still the top two players in the West, Antioch (Calif.) running back Najee Harris and Graham (Wash.) Kapowsin offensive tackle Foster Sarell.

Harris, already enrolled at Alabama, is the No. 1 overall player nationally by Scout, one of the best running backs the region has ever produced and is atop the West 150.

Sarell, the top offensive tackle in the country and arguably the top prospect from the Northwest in over a decade, is the No. 2 player in the country, just behind Harris, and is No. 2 in the region behind him as well.  Sarell announced for Stanford at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The No. 5 player in the West is Calabasas (Calif.) cornerback Darnay Holmes, the No. 1 cornerback in the country and the No. 13 overall player in 2017.  Holmes announced for UCLA at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
