Four Star WR Devon Cooley Talks Recent ASU Offer, Summer Visits

Feb. 24 -- Buena Park (Calif.) athlete Devon Cooley is one of the region's top two-way players and we're expecting his recruitment to really heat up over the spring...

Devon Cooley is a great looking athlete and has the ability to play receiver or safety at the next level.

He has plus size, body control, hands and athleticism and is a playmaker on both sides of the ball. He has looked very good playing safety at multiple 7v7 events that we've seen him at but his first love is wide receiver and he can definitely be an impact player there as well.

On the recruiting front, Cooley has offers from the Colorado BuffaloesColorado State RamsOregon Ducksa and UCLA Bruins and said the Rams are currently recruiting him hardest.

Cooley said he plans to take some spring and summer visits but wasn't sure where he'll take them right now. He does plan to take his official visits and said all four schools that have offered are in line for trips.

We caught up with Cooley Sunday at the Under Armour AA Camp who talked about his recruitment and you see the video above:

Editors Note- Cooley received offer No. 5 from Arizona State on Wednesday and gave us a few quick thoughts on the Sun Devils.

"I'm very interested in ASU, that's a big offer for me," Cooley said. "I definitely want to try and get out there in the Spring for a visit. Hopefully I can visit for Junior Day and I'm excited to learn more about the program."
