Pylon 7on7 Las Vegas National Championships Day Two Recruiting Notes

Feb. 27 -- Recruiting news and notes from day two of the Pylon 7on7 Las Vegas National Championships...

Calabasas (Calif.) receiver Nikko Hall is at nine offers and said some of the more significant offers are USCUCLANebraskaOregonOregon State and Louisville.  Hall said that he's wide open and no schools are really standing out to him.  The four-star said he thinks his next offer will come from ArizonaArizona StateCalifornia and Utah.

Lancaster (Calif) Antelope Valley athlete Devon Williams had a huge week picking up offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Cal, Nebraska, USC and Utah. Williams said the schools recruiting him hardest include Alaama, UCLA and USC and he hopes to visit all three later this spring/summer.

Four-star outside linebacker Brandon Kaho from Reno, Nev., committed to BYU last summer but he's maintaining contact with several other programs and intends to continue looking at all his options. Notre Dame, Oregon and Washington are some of the recent scholarship offers, and Kaho said he's also in steady contact with UCLA with plans to get out to each of those schools this coming spring and summer.

Tigard (Ore.) athlete Braden Lenzy committed to Notre Dame last week and said his unofficial visit was the deal-sealer for him.  The four-star said he's already starting to recruit and is keying on another Northwest native in Kyler Gordon to join him.

San Marcos (Calif) wide receiver Kyle Philips took an unofficial visit to Utah over the weekend before driving out to Vegas for the Pylon tourney. The Utes made a big impression on Philips and will likely stay in his top five throughout his recruitment. The next visit will likely be to UCLA and Oregon and Washington State could also get trips later this summer. Philips said he could get make a late summer decision.

Three-star linebacker Kana'i Mauga out of Waianae, Hawaii picked up an offer from Cal on Friday night and said he liked what assistant coach Marques Tuiasosopo had to say. Oregon State and Washington State have offered as well, and Mauga said he hopes to get out for unofficial visits the next time he's on the mainland for the All Poly Camp this summer.

Seattle (Wash.) Garfield 2020 DE/TE Sav'ell Smalls has offers from MichiganOregonOregon StateUCLA and hometown Washington, who was the first to offer him.  Smalls he's hoping to visit Michigan this spring for their Spring Game.

Portland (Ore.) Jesuit athlete Trey Lowe has offers from both of the in-state schools, Oregon and Oregon State as well as offers from Boise State and Hawaii.  Lowe is also planning to get up to Washington to check out the Huskies and could visit UCLA this spring too.
